Features of FrostWires
FrostWire includes much of the functionality of LimeWire’s free version, as well as a few of LimeWire Pro’s payment based upgrades On top of that, The program contains no pop-ups, no nag screens, no inhibiting features. User would not get bombarded by ads. In addition, FrostWire users do not have to worry about simultaneous download restrictions.
FrostWire has some new features. It comes with friendly online chatroom. However, you would not be able to find some of the LimeWire features such as the instant messenger in FrostWire.
By default, connections of FrostWire are encrypted with TLS. This can be disabled in the preference. More connections can be made using FrostWire client now.
FrostWire’s BitTorrent engine is now powered by Azureus technology. Prior to this, it uses a simplified BitTorrent engine created by LimeWire.
You can now share file between your Android Devices running FrostWire for Android and desktop computers running it through wireless connection. No pairing on either end is required. These devices are discovered automatically if they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
FrostWire is now compatible with iTune.
The skins of FrostWire is improved. There are more skins to choose from.
